As believers, we have been drafted onto the team of the true King. God took us from our old life and gave us a new one in Christ Jesus. This new team of Christ comes with a different character and different demands. We need to put on the uniform of the new team and identify ourselves with Him, letting go of the old and putting on the new, and when people see us, they should know what team we’re on because of the uniform we wear. We should no longer follow the playbook of the world, consuming the things it offers, because we are no longer a part of it. Look up and focus your eyes on Him. You went through too much to go back to the things you used to do, and you cost too much to go back to where you came from.
