Well Kids Team

Jordan Niles

Jordan Niles Kids Director

If there is one thing you need to know about Jordan, it is that he lives to have fun! He loves coffee, a good book, or a walk in nice weather. When he is not out having fun, he is at home hanging out with his beautiful wife, Danay and two kids, Patrick and June. Jordan grew up in church but didn’t fully understand the gospel until later in life. So now he has a desire and passion to see the next generation grow up in love with Jesus and a true view of the gospel.

Clif Weinbrenner

Clif Weinbrenner Fig Campus Kids Associate Director

Clif is happily living the girl-dad life with his amazing wife (whom he married in 2010). His oldest girl was born on his wife’s birthday, and his youngest was born on his! He loves exploring - whether it is out in nature with his family, in a good book, or the latest Zelda game.

One of the greatest passions in his life is helping people to know and follow Jesus and to do that in community. He especially loves investing in those who invest in others.

Clif was raised in the church and thought he understood what it meant to be a Christian, but in his 20s, God showed him what it truly meant to give his life and then follow Christ. It was through this that God pulled him into ministry and grew his passion to help people truly know and follow Jesus.

Emilie Jones

Emilie Jones Clovis Campus Kids Associate Director/415 Coordinator

Emilie was born and raised in Bass Lake, California, and has called The Well home since 2010. Because of her childhood, she feels most at home in the mountains. When hiking, backpacking, or simply being in nature, you can expect Emilie to pick wildflowers along the way to add to her growing collection of pressed flowers. Emilie also has a knack for art, loves the Word of God, and finds joy in connecting with people and hearing their stories.

Emilie’s kid's ministry experience roots in years of Christian camp ministry and kids-focused missionary work in South Africa. Emilie is passionate about coming alongside kids in their faith, especially for the preteen age demographic. She is eager to connect with you and your 4th or 5th graders!

Danay Niles

Danay Niles Fig Campus Elementary Coordinator

Most kids know Danay as “the lady with the pink hair” or “the lady who ate goldfish cereal at Summerpalooza.” Needless to say, Danay loves to have a good time. You can usually find Danay hanging out with her husband (Jordan) and two kids (Patrick and June) or kicking in at the dojo practicing and teaching karate to kids and young adults!

Danay did not grow up going to church, so she is passionate about teaching kids what the Bible really says and making sure kids know they are loved!

Rachel Tuttle

Rachel Tuttle Clovis Campus Elementary Coordinator

Rachel is married to her high school sweetheart and has three wild, but sweet kids. She attended The Master’s College, got married, and then finished up her degree at Fresno Pacific. Teaching was always on her radar until her kids arrived and she chose to stay home with them. The Lord then led her into kids ministry. She loves taking pictures, camping and fishing, gardening and cooking/entertaining. She is not a fan of silence and will always have music on in the background - from worship to country, ‘90s pop and yes, since she’s a mom, Disney music (but you gotta love some Disney music!).

Melissa Smith

Melissa Smith Clovis Campus Preschool Coordinator

Melissa was born and raised in Southern California. She moved to Fresno after her first year of college. It was in Fresno that she met her husband. Sean and Melissa have been married for 22 years and have 4 kids, 1 amazing daughter-in-law, and 2 goldendoodles. She loves the beach, shopping, 80's music, and NACHOS!

Melissa had the privilege of being home with her kids until her youngest was 10. She then went to work at the elementary school her children attended and while being a campus monitor was not the most glamorous job, it made her realize how much she loved working with children. She worked as an aide in a kindergarten classroom and then as one on one aide in special education. She loves that she now gets to not only work with kids and their families, but also share Jesus with them.

Megan Abajian

Megan Abajian Fig Preschool Coordinator

Josie Jones

Josie Jones Clovis Nursery/Walkers Coordinator

Josie was born and raised in Bass Lake, right outside Yosemite, and has attended The Well since 2010. When she’s not at church, you’ll find her hanging out with friends, playing board games, or at a coffee shop reading a good book. She loves going on adventures and fills her days off with trips to the mountains, where she’s hammocking in the trees or hiking to the nearest waterfall.

She moved to Fresno for school and was a preschool teacher before moving into ministry and working at The Well. She has always had a heart for young children and having fun with them while pointing them to Jesus. She also loves connecting with people, so be sure to say hi to her when you see her around on Sunday mornings!

Benjamin Hiett

Benjamin Hiett Fig Campus 415 Coordinator

Ben lives by the philosophy, “The more chocolate, the better.” His cravings for delicious holiday candy are only surpassed by his love for God. Ben has been involved in ministry for over three years, helping lead college students in Young Life at Fresno State and now helping out with kids' ministry at The Well. Ben is a video editor, digital artist, and writer as well. His favorite pastimes are hanging out with friends with coffee or dominating in a fierce board game battle.

Brooke Potter

Brooke Potter Special Needs Ministry Coordinator

Brooke was born and raised in Clovis and has attended the Well since 2010. She married her husband, Justin, in 2016 and has three children: Jordan, Ben, and Leah.

In 2013, she went on an Exposure Trip to an orphanage in Ukraine with Special Needs children. After returning from the trip, she switched her major from Kinesiology to Liberal Studies to eventually become a Special Education teacher.

After being a special education teacher for eight years, serving one year in RSP and the remaining years in an Autism Special Day class, Brooke followed her calling to work with children with special needs beyond the education world.

Kids with special needs have shown her a greater understanding of who God is. Brooke enjoys running, Trader Joe’s, and being outdoors!

Noal Aasness

Noal Aasness Kids Resource Coordinator

Noal grew up in Southern California and moved to Fresno after marrying her hot hunk of a firefighter in 1999. She graduated from Long Beach State, and although she got her degree in creative writing, she doesn't broadcast that fact, lest someone feel the urge to ask her to actually write something. She and her husband Todd (aka Hot Toddy) have a son (Tim), a daughter (Sarah), and a polydactyl cat (Suzanne Thumbers).

Noal enjoys reading, word games, working out (well, maybe not the working out part as much as the results of working out), trying new restaurants, and a good cup of coffee. She'll take Fresno winters over Fresno summers, dark chocolate over milk chocolate, and Cheez-its over Goldfish any day of the week. She considers her job on the Kids' Team a huge privilege as she makes sure the kids have the supplies and lessons available, so they are equipped to learn about Jesus' overwhelming love for them.

Ruby Koetsier

Ruby Koetsier Training Ground Coordinator

Jenn Fries

Jenn Fries Kids Ministry Administrator

Jenn married her Prince Charming, Shaun. They have a beautiful blended family with three kids: Alex, Roman, Chris, and 2 fur babies. Jenn attended Fresno State with a BS in Economics and has vast experience in the corporate world, nonprofits, and ministry. She is also a volunteer Chaplain with the Clovis Police Department.

Jenn has a heart for serving others and loving them where they are. On Sundays, you will find her loving on the babies in the nursery. God has put the next generation of kids and their families on her heart, and she finds great joy in supporting The Well Kids Ministry staff, kids, and families. Her heart is to love like Jesus and grow deeper in His Word.
