The church was never meant to be a cruise ship, where we sit back and let a few do the work of many. As followers of Christ, we are all part of a battleship, with the unified goal of helping people connect to God and to each other in every neighborhood. The author of Hebrews gives an admonition not to neglect meeting together (Hebrews 10:25). We need to redefine our theology and realign our hearts with His, understanding it is important for believers to assemble, not gathering with each other to merely consume information but to be in the Word together as we exalt Christ.
