We offer Life Group Launches 2 times a year. Once you sign up for a new Life Group, you will walk through a curriculum that exposes you to our Foundational Practices and what a Life Group at The Well is all about.
Interested in becoming a Life Group Leader? New Life Group leaders walk through leader training while taking their group through the Life Group Launch. After 10 weeks on-campus, Life Groups transition to meeting in a home.

Life Groups are where people experience gospel transformation in biblical community. A Life Group is a home gathering made up of 8-16 people who meet weekly or bi-weekly to share, study, and support one another. Life Group leaders are trained and supported by The Well Life Group staff team.

New Life Groups going through the Life Group Launch meet on-campus at our Clovis Campus or Fig Campus. After the Launch, Life Groups transition to meeting in homes. The majority of Life Groups meet on various nights of the week in homes throughout Fresno/Clovis. Most evening groups meet from 6:30-8:30pm. The daytime groups meeting times vary.
Life Groups are semester-based home groups. At the end of each semester, you will have the choice of staying in the same group, trying a new group, or even taking a break. Most groups stay together throughout the entire year. Life Groups typically change up their meeting rhythm during the summer.
Joining a Life Group requires an 8-10 week commitment to attend weekly meetings and do the homework ahead of time. This commitment is the key to a strong Life Group. If you sign up for a group and decide it’s not a good fit for you, let us know and we would love to help you find another one!
New Life Groups go through our Life Group Launch, which is an 11-week experience that explores 8 foundational practices that are essential to a healthy spiritual life. No matter what stage of life or where you are in your walk with the Lord, these foundational practices are "the how" for living out our mission of connecting to God and to each other in every neighborhood.
After Life Group Launch, most Life Groups walk through a sermon-based Life Group guide each week, which includes personal study in the Word, listening to the weekly sermon, and then processing how it applies in our lives.
Life Groups are for adults. (Exceptions can be made for nursing newborns, up to six months.) We leave it up to each family to work out their own childcare. Sometimes it works best for families to share a sitter or to swap childcare with another family whose Life Group meets on a different evening.
Childcare is available during Life Group Launches on-campus. Once your Life Groups transition to meeting in homes, you will discuss what childcare will look like.
